    A regrouped Van Halen electrify Chicago with summer tour

    2015 marks the return of a full fledged Van Halen tour. Launching the two-leg run spanning the States and Canada, Van Halen regroups after having cancelled 31 tour dates on their 2012 tour in support of A Different Kind Of Truth. The 2015 North American Tour opened on July 5 and concludes on October 4.

    Rock USA breaks from classic rock with Avenged Sevenfold

    Trading rain for 90 degree temperatures, Rock USA not only took a stern new direction with the weather, but also with their lineup for Friday night. Swapping the classics for a newer generation’s take on rock music, Avenged Sevenfold changed the pace, headlining with support from Breaking Benjamin and Papa Roach.

    Judas Priest, Lynryd Skynyrd unmatched by torrential rain

    Wisconsin festivals have fared pretty well this year avoiding inclement weather in exchange for cooler temperatures, or in some cases, scalding ones. However, night two of Oshkosh’s Rock USA did not have that privilege, instead experiencing near torrential rains on and off throughout the evening.

The Rave party with pop-powerhouses Charli XCX & Bleachers

Well known for singles “Boom Clap” and “Break the Rules” and early-career features on Icona Pop’s “I Love It” and Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy”, Charli XCX headlined The Rave with pop-punk-like glee. The “Charli and Jack Do America” tour also features Bleachers, spearheaded by Jack Antonoff of Fun.
