    After over five years away, KISS made an explosive return to Milwaukee for their “Freedom to Rock” tour. They’ve been around since then, however, making stops at Tinley Park in Illinois, and the Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy, though Milwaukee has stayed off their radar until now.

    Slipknot crush sixth Rock USA

    Rock USA roared into its sixth year, Slipknot headlining the mid-July Friday night show. Ditching classic rock for this 3-day run, Rock USA recruited Slipknot, Disturbed, Alice in Chains, Five Finger Death Punch, and Shinedown for this go round.

    A refreshing new wave of soul has made it to the mainstream market. A fairly new name music, Leon Bridges has seemingly reinvigorated the style and era of an earlier generation. His polished and tailored stature bring us back to an earlier time in R&B.

    G. Love & Special Sauce share the ‘Love’ with Milwaukee

    On the tails of a new album released last fall, G. Love & Special Sauce returned to a familiar venue in the Brew City, the Northern Lights Theater. An intimate seated setting with room to dance complimented the incredible amount of organized groovy racket just a three-piece can put out.

Zakk Wylde’s ‘Book of Shadows II’ tour turns to Milwaukee

Legendary guitarist Zakk Wylde has hit the road again in support of his Book of Shadows II tour. Dialed way back in comparison to other endeavors such as those with Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne, Wylde’s current tour is zeroed in on his solo gritty Book of Shadows 2 album.
