Brad Paisley delivers a stellar performance to Oshkosh
Headlining day four of the massive country festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Country USA, 2011 CMT Artist of the Year, Brad Paisley, delivered a high-profile concert to remember.
Extravagant lighting and projections made Brad Paisley’s performance the stand out show of the week. A stage backlit by thousands of LED’s and extended walkway out into the crowd brought him a little bit closer to the fans that love his music and personality.
Brad, backed by a large and talented band, played all his best songs and really showed off his superior guitar skills throughout the entire night. The show was a big change from the opener Lee Ann Womack, who was a little less energetic and exciting than Brad’s production.
Every once in a while he would walk off stage and go interact with the crowd in the front rows and down the middle. For a few songs he even walked out into the back of the VIP section and played a few tunes for fans a bit farther back.
It was nice to see him leave the stage and change up his concert compared to some other acts even though he was closely followed by a mob of security staff at all times. Fans really love when their favorite musicians take the time to come up close and give a smile.
For every song the LED wall at the rear of the stage lit up with a video clips and cool effects that only made the concert even better. At one point a Brad Paisley life size bobble head came out on the stage drawing a lot of laughter from the crowd.
Easily the best show and entertainment of the week so far, Brad Paisley played a nicely sized set going passed midnight into the early morning. Many didn’t have far to go though, as much of the festival attendees camp out for the five-day country bash.
