Weeks of torrential rains in the Midwest have left ground conditions questionable, especially in Wisconsin’s Fox Valley. The annual Country USA music festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin had questionable handling of the weather situation as the festival kicked off earlier this Tuesday (read here), but as the week progressed conditions of the festival grounds improved. Brad Paisley launches country weekend at Summerfest

As the weekend rolled in, so did the fans. Attendance was up at Summerfest for the marginally warmer Friday night, kicking off a weekend of country music. While the fog was letting up The annual Big Bang fireworks show wasn’t going to take a chance, rescheduling for July 1 in an attempt to attract more fans to the Tuesday of the second week – one of the fest’s lower attended days.
