Eric Church roars back to Country USA
With a grin ear to ear and as enthusiastic as ever, Eric Church made his way back to Wisconsin and Country USA for 2015. Growing in popularity alongside similar artists Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan, Eric Church was a suitable headliner for the sprawling country festival.
His crushing single “Drink in My Hand” rang home with Country USA fans, many enjoying the easy-minded country music from Eric Church with a drink or two. Toasting fans and reminiscing on previous years at Oshkosh’s Country USA, Church often threw his arms up at an old familiar crowd.
However, quickly after the first few songs, fans could be seen leaving in clusters without any apparent reason. Eric Church, ready to toast every last fans was nothing to turn away from, even from the most mild country listener so it was unclear why at this show, and many others dotting Country USA lineups, fans elect to depart after a short five songs.
Fans responded well to one of Church’s first hits “Smoke a Little Smoke” – as well received as it was played. Church’s newest album, The Outsiders is climbing charts and came about frequently at Country USA.
Tim McGraw headlines the final day of Country USA 2015 on Saturday.
